Have You Seen This Girl?

by: Carissa Ann Lynch

When I first started reading this book, it felt like I was reading a sort of "Special Victims Unit" episode, but without all the police and lawyers, as if it was just about the unfortunate victims of sex trafficking.

Once I actually read the first page, I couldn't stop. My heart broke for Wendi, but as it did, the story continued to include developments I never would have expected.

I just finished reading it and I feel blown away by the story. I have to say it was such a fantastic ride and very well done. Seeing Wendi fall so many times but then finally acquiring the resolve to get clean and seek justice for herself and other victims... it was enjoyable every moment, and I absolutely recommend this book.

Macyn's Awakening

by: S.L. Stacker

I always know I'll enjoy this author's stories because they are packed with wicked twists. MACYN'S AWAKENING is no exception.

I have this little hobby of trying to figure out stories and looking for possible unbelievable twists, but I did not foresee any of the major twists of this book.

It continues the story of Macyn's Letter quite well and raises the bar, as sequels should. The author was always one step ahead of me, which I appreciated.

As far as how I feel about the shocking turn of events... I was definitely stunned, but I know without a doubt there is a satisfying conclusion waiting in the 3rd book. She obviously purposely left a few threads hanging there, to be picked up and explained in the next.

It was a lot of fun reading this book

Macyn's Letter

This is a great book!

I have to say, sudden cliffhangers are torturous to me, but the author's writing is too good for me to give it anything less than 5 stars. The pacing is perfect, and the characters definitely each have their own style and personalities, all without having to say too much about them.

There is a lot of action and some twists that I honestly didn't expect at all, as well as a few things I'm still wondering about. I'm glad the author put in a little sample of the next book at the end, because if not, I would have been throwing the book across the room in frustration (which I guess I couldn't have done because I actually had the ebook, and I don't want to do that to my kindle).

I do wish the author had written one giant fat book instead of dividing it into separate books, but overall, this is an awesome story which is like a cross between Melrose Place and Agents of SHIELD.

I look forward to reading more by this author.
